Let’s talk about the features and tools you get inside the platform that helps in building apps and growing your business:

PassionProducts

Under the PassionProducts section, you can create your products by uploading the video lessons, resources and more by uploading them to your live app.

There are five tabs available — Discover, Courses, Community, Tracking and Profile. You can set up all these things from the PassionProducts tab.

You can also check the live preview of your application from the same tab.

Discover

Through the Discover tab available inside PassionProducts, you can design your app’s welcome screen and sales page.

You can add your logo, custom background image or video and you can add the testimonial quotes on your welcome screen from the Discover tab.

After setting up the welcome page, click on the sales page option above to customize it. On the left, you can find all the widgets available to add to your sales page such as header, pricing plans, multi pricing, feature list, FAQs etc.

Click on the edit option on the sales page header screen, it will open up header settings from where you can change the background image/video, headline, caption and call to action button.

You can edit any section of your sales page by clicking on the edit button over the section you want to edit through the app preview screen.

Courses

Inside the courses tab, you can create new courses or if you have already created courses for your app then you can find them all here.

A form will appear where you need to enter some details about the course you want to create. It includes the course name, summy of the course and course image. Once you enter all the information, hit the Add Course button at the bottom of the form.

Now choose a course template according to your course curriculum.

After selecting the course template, you will be landed on the course editor screen where you can add new lessons to your course. Passion.io also allows you to add drip content, just click on the three dots option on the lesson that you want to add as drip content.

Then click on the Drip lesson and select days when you want it to be available for your students.

Once you made all the changes to your course and it is ready to publish, hit the Publish button at the top right-upper corner.

To add a new lesson to your course, click on the BIG + button and choose Content.

Enter your lesson name, summary, and duration and choose type — Lesson(we’ll discuss Sequences later). After that, hit the + Add Content button.

You can add content like, images, videos, text, files and audio files as well inside your lesson.

If you have videos hosted on YouTube and Vimeo, you can easily embed them in your content. As of now, it doesn’t support the Wistia.

Sequences

Now let’s discuss Sequences as the type when creating lessons.

Choose type as Sequence when adding a new lesson to your course.

A sequence is a set of multiple content, movements, exercise and tasks which allows students to go through all and complete one after the other. It is a unique feature of Passion.io which is not available with any other LMS platform as of now.

There are two types of exercise — Interactive exercise and Timed interactive exercise.

Interactive exercise is best for coaching business and other kinds of courses where there is no need for timed exercise.

If you are from the sports, fitness and yoga industry then choose the Timed interactive exercise that would be perfect for your business.

Setting Up Course Pricing

Find the course pricing option from the left-side menu to set up pricing for your course. There are two types of subscription models — Subscription and one-time subscription models.

You can select the features such as Community and User tracking, you want to add to your pricing plan. Also, select the course you want to use for this pricing plan.

Once you are done selecting features and courses, click on the Next Step button at the bottom.

You can add a free trial option to your course, you can allow 7, 14 or even 30 days of the free trial. It will allow your customers to get free access to the course for a limited time.

This is how you can add subscription-based pricing for your products. Let’s see how you can set up one-time pricing for products:

Go to the one-time orders tab and edit your one-time payment plans from there. You can also create a new plan from the button available there.

If you want to add a free plan, just make sure to keep the price at 0 to make it available as a free plan for your users.

Community

The community feature in Passion.io allows you to create a space for your students to interact with each other. It helps in increasing the user’s engagement and maintaining a long-term relationship.

You can include it as a feature in the pricing plan for your course.

To enable the community feature in your course, make sure to tick the Community feature when setting up the pricing plan for your course.

So, all the students subscribed to a community-enabled plan will see the community tab on their screen. Community features will help you increase engagement by creating group-based activities and channels for your students.

Tracking

But if you want to enable this feature only for those who have subscribed to your plan then make sure to tick it as a feature when creating a pricing plan for your course. As shown in the below screenshot:

Profile

The profile tab is not available currently, but it will be live soon as their team is working hard to bring new functionalities and features to the platform.

PassionApps

PassionApps give you direct access to design and edit the welcome screen and sales page of your apps. Instead of navigating to PassionProducts > Discover, you can access the same page directly from PassionApps.

You can edit your welcome screen and sales page, change the background image/video, and add testimonial quotes to your welcome screen.

Also, customize your sales page directly from the PassionApps, you can show your pricing plans and other information about your products.

PassionMessaging

PassionMessaging feature lets you send push notifications to android and iOS users. You can schedule multiple notifications based on time intervals.

It will help you to keep your audience engaged with your products, also you can promote your new products and upsell offers.

To send a notification, click on the PassionMessaging from the left side menu at the dashboard and then click on the +Create New button to create new push notifications.

Make the notification ON, then enter the title and text of the notification.

Select who should be sent a notification, this is where you need to select a segment of the audience from the available audience segments.

Now select the time when it should be sent, the notification will be sent according to the time you set here.

Once you have selected all the things for your notification, click on the Update Notification.

You will be able to see the preview of the notification(how it will appear on users’ devices) on the right side.

PassionMetrics

PassionMetrics section will show you all the important data about your app and users who have subscribed to your products. As well as, you can view all the payments made inside the PassionMetrics.

Following data can be found under the PassionMetrics tab:

• Total users, the sum of active and inactive users
• Total subscribers, the sum of users who have subscribed to your plans
• Active users in 30 days
• The no. of lessons and sequences completed by app users
• Total revenue, the sum of the amount paid by users
• Month recurring revenue
• Total one-time payments

Theme Customization

Navigate to the Theme option on the left-side menu on Dashboard to customize the design of your apps.

You get some colour pallets to choose from for your app, choose a pallet that suits your brand theme. Also, you can customize colours inside a pallet just by clicking on the edit icon.

Click on the Branding option to change the logo, background and header image/video for your app.

You can change the followings:

• You can replace the logo which is used on the authentication, welcome and loading screen
• Background image for Discover page, loading stage background
• Header image for sequence overview
